What if waste was not the end, but the beginning of something rare? At BLUEGLASS., we are proud to introduce Salvage® Glass: our pioneering packaging concept that reclaims what others throw away.
Born from the overlooked glass produced during colour transitions in glass furnaces, Salvage® gives new life to what was once considered unusable. Each bottle tells a different story, rich in tone, character, and imperfection.
Glass furnaces run 24/7, never pausing - even between colour changes. Shifting from flint to amber, or black back to flint, takes several days of gradual transition. During this period, the glass does not match any standard colour. Traditionally, it is discarded, melted back down at a cost of wasted energy, time, and materials. This is where Salvage® begins.
Rediscovered, Not Discarded.
Instead of seeing this transitional glass as waste, we see beauty in imperfection. Salvage® Glass captures these fleeting in-between hues and turns them into something tangible: bottles with layered tones, subtle gradients, and one-of-a-kind colours. No two are ever exactly alike.
